Punjab Wiki is a volunteer project, and it gets better when readers tell it what is wrong or missing. Every message is read; corrections with a source are made first.
What helps most
- Corrections
- A date, a name, a spelling, a number. Please say where you read the right version.
- Pictures
- A picture that shows the wrong person or place, or a page with none. Wikimedia Commons is the easiest source to use, because its licences allow it.
- Missing people, places and objects
- Someone who should have a page, a battle, a shrine, a coin or a manuscript in a museum.
- Punjabi
- Better wording in Gurmukhi or Shahmukhi: most of the Punjabi editions were drafted by machine and checked only in part.
- Stories from families
- Shaheeds of 1984 and survivors of 1947 whose stories should be told, if the family wishes.

How we decide
This site tries to tell the history of the whole Punjab, across the border and across every faith, fairly. Where sources disagree we say so and give both, as with the death tolls of 1947 and 1984. We will not take sides between faiths, and we do not publish anything that attacks any community.
