Bishan Singh Bedi

ਬਿਸ਼ਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੇਦੀبشن سنگھ بیدی

Left-arm spinner from Amritsar, one of the great Indian spin quartet and a captain of India.

Bedi was born in Amritsar in 1946. His flighted, looping left-arm spin made him one of the finest bowlers of his age, alongside Prasanna, Chandrasekhar and Venkataraghavan.

He captained India in the late 1970s and was known for his outspoken views on the game.
