Shahbaz Ahmad

ਸ਼ਹਿਬਾਜ਼ ਅਹਿਮਦشہباز احمد

Forward from Faisalabad, one of the greatest hockey players of his time, who led Pakistan to the World Cup in 1994.

Shahbaz Ahmad was born in Faisalabad in 1968. His dribbling made him the outstanding forward of the late 1980s and 1990s, and he was named player of the tournament at the World Cups of 1990 and 1994.

He captained Pakistan to the 1994 World Cup at Sydney, the last time Pakistan won it.
