Yuvraj Singh

ਯੁਵਰਾਜ ਸਿੰਘیوراج سنگھ

Batsman from Chandigarh who hit six sixes in an over in 2007 and was player of the tournament at the 2011 World Cup while ill with cancer.

Yuvraj Singh, son of the cricketer and Punjabi actor Yograj Singh, played for India from 2000. At the first T20 World Cup in 2007 he hit Stuart Broad for six sixes in one over.

In 2011 he was named player of the tournament as India won the World Cup, playing through what turned out to be a cancerous tumour. He recovered and played again.
