Luddi
The men's victory dance, swaying and clapping in a circle to the dhol, danced across the western Punjab.
Luddi is danced by men to celebrate a victory, a wedding or a good harvest. The dancers move in a circle, swaying from the waist, clapping, and turning their heads in time to the dhol, sometimes with one hand behind the back.
It is especially loved in Pakistani Punjab, and is danced by crowds after cricket victories and at weddings and political rallies.
