Three times Chief Minister of Pakistani Punjab, known for building Lahore's metro and roads, and Prime Minister of Pakistan from 2022.

The younger brother of Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif ran Pakistani Punjab in 1997-99 and from 2008 to 2018, with a reputation as a hard-driving administrator who built bus and metro lines, flyovers and power plants.

He became Prime Minister of Pakistan in 2022 and again in 2024.
