On the Beas, where the Guru helped the hill rajas defeat a Mughal force in 1691.

Nadaun is a town on the Beas in Hamirpur district, Himachal Pradesh, the old seat of the Katoch rajas of Kangra in summer.

In 1691 Guru Gobind Singh fought here alongside the hill rajas against the Mughal commander Alif Khan, who had come to collect tribute. The Mughals were defeated. The Guru stayed here eight days afterwards.

Later the Katoch raja Sansar Chand built a palace at Nadaun. Gurdwara Nadaun Sahib marks the Guru's camp.
